Kimery Doyle

3rd Grade Teacher

Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Kimery Doyle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (K – 8) at Western Governors University, completed her student teaching at Christ Lutheran Schools, and is licensed to teach in the states of New Mexico, North Carolina, and Virginia. She is beginning her fifth year in teaching and fourteenth year in education. Her experiences in education include: four years of middle school English, a year of kindergarten through eighth grade P.E., eighth grade Technology, high school Assistant Athletic Director, middle school Truancy Officer, middle school Administrative Assistant, and high school and collegiate Pole Vault Coach.

Mrs. Doyle’s adventurous and fun loving spirit is evident in the classroom where she is a proponent of Project Based Learning (PBL). PBLs are used to encourage students to be inquisitive and imaginative while problem solving, which in turn creates an atmosphere where learning takes place.

When Mrs. Doyle isn’t encouraging students to discover and develop their interests, she can be found spending time with her family, which includes three grandsons. She feels blessed to be back home at Christ Lutheran where she began her teaching career.
